Community Vibrancy Project Update

Thank you to all who participated in our community discussion regarding the Buffalo Plains “Vibrancy Grant”.
After much discussion, the Village is excited to announce the starting process of building Lomond’s very first “Health and Wellness Center”.
We are still in the beginning stages of the project but here is a sneak peak into what we’ve designed thus far.
We have been fortunate enough to receive $25,000.00 through Buffalo Plains “Vibrancy Fund” being paid out annually in November with hopes of further financial aid in our project.

Village of Lomond was also selected to receive another $15,000.00 from Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta as part of  there 2026 Community Priorities Grant Recipient towards our Community Health and Wellness project.

We thank you both for your support towards our project.

Stay tuned for all the excitement!

Office Closed during Christmas

Just a friendly reminder that December 23rd will be our last day open before the holiday break. If you have any outstanding balances and don’t pay online, please feel free to stop by the office on December 23rd to make your payment.

To help avoid any interest being added to your account, we encourage you to have your balances paid before the end of the month. Any payments submitted while we’re away will be processed when we return on January 5th, and we’ll honor the payment date noted on your submission.
Thank you all,
A&M
